Norwich Terrier - a rare breed of dogs. Very often people are confused with Norwich still rare for one terrier- Cairn terrier. And indeed, at first glance looks very similar to these breeds. Moreover, in some European countries for breeding Norwich Terriers were used Cairn Terriers. We are don’t like this too much. This is very bad for the breed Norwich terrier. We are a pure-breeding. Our Norwich Terriers are not among their ancestors Cairn terriers.

Norwich Terrier - a tough little dog volume, which has a strong constitution, a short back, strong, short legs.

Cairn Terrier also has a strong constitution, but the core, compared with Norwich, slightly longer legs, a little lighter constitution. No such volume as a Norwich.

COAT

Wool of Norwich Terrier is hard, wiry, straight, lying close to body with a tight-developed undercoat.

Cairn Terrier also has a hard coat. Wool core is softer than that of Norwich. The direction of growth - in part.

COLOUR
|
|
All shades of red, wheaten, black and tan or grizzle (red with black version). Options band color: black and tan and grizzly are clearly defined zones, any band color always fallen on the background on the muzzle, paws and a tail. Norwich Terriers can’t have tiger color.

Cream, wheaten, red, gray or almost black. With all these color varieties allowed mackerel. Pure black or black and tan, white - are not allowed. The dark markings on the ears and face are very typical.

BEHAVIOUR AND TEMPERAMENT:

Norwich Terrier - has a pleasant disposition, not ugly, extremely active, with a courageous character, funny and fearless, but with all this more peaceful than the Cairn Terrier.
